Formation
V-て + しまう → V-ちゃう (V-で + しまう → V-じゃう)
Usage
A casual contraction of 〜てしまう, expressing an unintended action or one done completely. Used in relaxed conversation only.
Examples
財布を忘れちゃった。
さいふをわすれちゃった。
Oops, I forgot my wallet.
全部食べちゃった。
ぜんぶたべちゃった。
I ate it all up.
