で marks the place where an action takes place (unlike に, which marks existence or destination) as well as the means or tool used.

• 図書館で勉強します。

  としょかんでべんきょうします。

  I study at the library.

• バスで会社に行きます。

  バスでかいしゃにいきます。

  I go to work by bus.
