V-ます形 + ます / ません
Usage
Attach ます to the verb stem for polite speech; the negative is ません. The same form covers present and future.
Examples
毎日、日本語を勉強します。
まいにち、にほんごをべんきょうします。
I study Japanese every day.
肉は食べません。
にくはたべません。
I don't eat meat.
