〜どころではない

Says that circumstances make A completely out of the question — there is no time, money or mental room for it. It is used about one's own or a shared situation, often to refuse or to explain why something is impossible now. 〜どころじゃない is the casual spoken form; do not confuse it with 〜どころか, which contrasts two facts rather than rejecting a situation.

• 試験が近いので、遊びに行くどころではない。

  しけんがちかいので、あそびにいくどころではない。

  The exam is near, so this is no time to go out having fun.

• 仕事が山ほどあって、昼ご飯どころじゃないよ。

  しごとがやまほどあって、ひるごはんどころじゃないよ。

  I've got a mountain of work — I can't even think about lunch.

• 地震の直後で、旅行どころではありませんでした。

  じしんのちょくごで、りょこうどころではありませんでした。

  It was right after the earthquake, so travelling was out of the question.
