〜をもってすれば

A conditional form of をもって used when some outstanding ability, technology or resource is presented as sufficient to guarantee a good result. The second clause is typically a positive prediction with 〜だろう・〜はずだ・〜に違いない, and the noun is usually something praiseworthy (実力, 技術力, 財力, 彼の腕). It is formal and somewhat literary; the negative counterpart is 〜をもってしても（〜ない）, meaning 'even with… still not'.

• 彼の実力をもってすれば、優勝も夢ではない。

  かれのじつりょくをもってすれば、ゆうしょうもゆめではない。

  With his ability, winning the championship is not a pipe dream.

• 最新の技術をもってすれば、この修理は一日で終わるだろう。

  さいしんのぎじゅつをもってすれば、このしゅうりはいちにちでおわるだろう。

  With the latest technology, this repair could be finished in a day.

• あの会社の資金力をもってすれば、買収は容易に実現するはずだ。

  あのかいしゃのしきんりょくをもってすれば、ばいしゅうはよういにじつげんするはずだ。

  Given that company's financial power, the acquisition should be easy to pull off.
